1. Who we are

PoleStrike is a product of Homebase Innovations LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This privacy policy explains what personal information we collect on this website (www.polestrike.com), why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

2. What information we collect

On this pre-launch website, we collect exactly one thing:

• Your email address, when you voluntarily submit it through our "Get Notified" signup form.

That's it. We do not ask for your name, phone number, address, or any other identifying details. We do not use cookies to track you across the web. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

When your browser loads the page, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records basic technical information in its server logs — your IP address, user agent string, and the URL requested. This is standard for any website on the internet and is used only to deliver the page and detect abuse. These logs are retained for a short period (typically 30 days) and are not correlated with your email address.

3. How we use your email address

We use your email address for one purpose:

• To send you an occasional email about PoleStrike — product updates, launch timing, and early-bird availability.

We do not:

• Sell or rent your email address to anyone.
• Share your email with marketing partners, data brokers, or third parties.
• Use your email for targeted advertising on other platforms.
• Add you to mailing lists you didn't sign up for.

4. Where your email is stored

Your email address is stored securely by our hosting provider, Netlify, in infrastructure located in the United States. Netlify is a SOC 2 Type II compliant service provider. You can read their security practices at netlify.com/security.

Access to the list of email addresses is restricted to authorized personnel at Homebase Innovations LLC.

5. How long we keep your email

We keep your email until you ask us to remove it, or until the PoleStrike product is no longer actively marketed (whichever comes first). At that point, the mailing list is deleted.

6. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your email address on our list:

• Unsubscribe at any time. Every email we send you includes a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it immediately removes you from future emails. You don't need to explain why.
• Request a copy of the information we hold about you (it will be just your email address and the date you signed up).
• Request deletion of your email from our records. We will remove it within 30 days of your request.
• Request correction if the email on file is wrong.

To exercise any of these rights, email homebaseinnovations@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. If you're in the European Union or United Kingdom

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act, you have additional rights:

• Legal basis for processing: We process your email address on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the signup form.
• Right to withdraw consent: You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
• Right to data portability: On request, we will provide your email and signup date in a machine-readable format.
• Right to lodge a complaint: You can complain to your local data protection authority if you believe we've mishandled your data.
• Data transfers: Your email is stored on servers in the United States. By submitting the signup form, you consent to this international transfer.

8. If you're in California (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected (email address, signup date).
• Request deletion of that information.
• Opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information under any definition of the term.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

9. CAN-SPAM compliance

We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Any marketing email we send will include our physical business address, a clear identification of the sender, an accurate "From" line, a relevant subject line, and a visible unsubscribe link that works.

10. Children's privacy

PoleStrike is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

11. Third-party services on this website

This website loads a small number of resources from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs) for performance reasons:

• Tailwind CSS (cdn.tailwindcss.com) — visual styling.
• GSAP (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — scroll animations.

These services see your IP address when their files are loaded, which is standard for any CDN. They do not receive your email address or any personal information we collect. They may set their own technical cookies; we do not control those.

We self-host our fonts (Raleway) and do not use Google Fonts, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising or analytics trackers on this website.

12. Security

All data submitted through this website is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the email addresses we collect. However, no internet-based system is 100% secure. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, if the changes materially affect how we use your information, notify you by email. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
